Great Tech News From Rotterdam

Some really exciting Artificial Intelligence / IOT news coming out of Rotterdam. IOT leader IBM is working with the Port of Rotterdam to prepare for fully autonomous ships by 2025. This will include the installation of IOT gear across the port to fully virtualize the environment for the ships to navigate. Essentially digitalizing the entire port to create a digital world.  Absolutely Mental :)

This is just one of a whole host of examples of the Netherlands leading the way in Tech investment. I'm sure this will create plenty of jobs in the Zuid-Holland region including Software Developers, DevOps, Embedded Software Engineers not to mention Cloud Engineers and Project Management.  I'm sure it will also have a great impact for startups in the Rotterdam area, particularly those involved in the Internet of Things, many of whom are working with Foxtek to provide talent. 

Also means Amsterdam aren't having all the fun :)
