How is technology supporting the Dutch Education sector?

Tom Baker

In 2017, Preventie door interventie (ecbo, 2017) reported that one in six Dutch 15 year olds cannot read properly (18%). In 2012, this percentile was 13.8%.

To cut this growing statistic the Dutch government have had to look at new technologies such as AI, machine learning and educational software that challenge traditional education methods.

To read more about the types of software that are being developed then please take a look at the following link from the Business insider https://www.businessinsider.com/how-technology-is-shaping-the-future-of-education-2017-12?r=US&IR=T#even-with-technology-being-used-in-more-and-more-classrooms-teachers-will-be-as-important-as-ever-3

Over the last 12 months Foxtek has had the pleasure of working with a number of Dutch based companies that create these technologies.

If you'd like to make a difference and create new educational products that will benefit the children of the future then please get in touch with me @ tom.baker@foxtekrs.com or checkout our jobs page!
