What is the real difference between DevOps/DataOps?
I'm increasingly seeing cross over between the two disciplines - why do you think this is happening?

DevOps changed the way we develop software, DataOps is changing the way we create data products

DevOps involves:
- Enabling speed, quality, and flexibility
- It does this by employing a Delivery Pipeline and Feedback Loop to create and maintain software products.

DataOps employs a similar workflow to achieve the same goals for teams building data products.

DevOps Engineers create a silo to build products in, this allows the overall function to not be affected.

Data engineers can’t build data products in a silo; they must collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand the business context.
