Job Title - Medior to Senior DevOps Engineer
Location – Amsterdam
Salary – Up to €70K including holiday allowance
How interested would you be to work for a leading technology company, at the forefront of the agile delivery of video entertainment apps? This cross-functional technology is used on set-top boxes, SmartTVs, media players, game consoles, tablets, and mobile phones. They are currently using a team of DevOps engineers to scale their business into a fully NoOps environment.
The client is able to offer a salary up to €70,000 with holiday allowance included.
Their offices are in an awesome district of Amsterdam Noord, 5-minute walk from the latest metro they have a great working environment with an international environment & regularly plan company trips/events.
Essential Skills
· A bachelor degree in software engineering or similar engineering discipline
· Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence
· Experience with scripting languages, preferably Bash, Python
· Experience with CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, TravisCI, etc
· A willingness to participate in a rotating out-of-office hours emergency shift (only once a month)
· Proficiency with the English Language
Beneficial
· Experience with utilising AWS services, especially in setting up full-blown VPCs. Any cloud experience would be very useful
· Experience in moving away from traditional infrastructure into containerised microservices and immutable infrastructure
· A good understanding of configuration management languages, such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and/or Ansible
· Experience with agile & lean working methods
