My client develops and markets innovative systems for the security of buildings and sites. These include access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection. They are a leader in the international industry for physical access control and security management and base their products on state-of-the-art software and hardware technology. Many top companies use their security solutions. Think of banks, large public buildings, airports and multinationals.
They are currently looking for a Freelance Project manager for an exciting new project. The successful candidate will report directly into the Programme Manager. However, this company operate a fairly flat hierarchy so you will need to present your ideas very clearly, expect to be challenged and work together with others to find solutions.
The average run time of a project is 2 years with another 15 running in parallel.
The Project manager will work alongside one of the companies 7 teams whom are all based in the Oost Gelre region of East Netherlands which borders Germany. The nearest airports are Weeze (Germany), Amsterdam Schipol or Eindhoven. The candidate will be expected to be there at least 3 days per week with the remaining days completed either from home or onsite at remote offices based in Utrecht or Amsterdam. International travel will also be required on average, 1 week every 2 months.
You will be expected to report on the projects progress, evaluate project deployment, introduce due process, manage stakeholders and provide a link between the client and the customer.
This position is open to anyone outside the Netherlands who has excellent written and verbal English language skills.
The interview process will be in two stages. Those who live outside commutable distance can do the first interview over Skype followed by a face to face interview on site.
