About the role

We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer (C#/Angular) to join a growing IoT-focused technology business operating in the smart cities and infrastructure space.

You’ll play a central role in evolving an existing platform that combines IoT hardware and cloud-based software, transforming real-world sensor data into actionable insights for large-scale, real-world use cases. The product already has live pilots and strong market traction, and is now moving into a full production and scale phase.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, working closely with product and IoT specialists, with a clear path to grow into a Lead Developer position as the team expands.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop scalable backend and frontend features.
  • Build robust backend services using C# / .NET.
  • Develop modern frontend applications using Angular.
  • Integrate IoT data via MQTTREST APIs, and WebSockets.
  • Build real-time dashboards and data flows that make complex data easy to understand.
  • Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with product and IoT teams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Occasionally visit on-site deployments to understand real-world usage.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend experience with C# / .NET (recent versions).
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Frontend experience with Angular
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, including setting up cloud components.
  • Comfortable working on greenfield projects and taking ownership.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
  • Interest in or experience with IoT systems (MQTT, device integrations).
  • Strong communication skills in EnglishDutch is a plus.
  • Comfortable in a startup/scale-up environment.
  • Positive attitude toward AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot).

Working model & benefits

  • Hybrid working model (preferred 3 days office / 2 remote)
  • €2,000 annual learning & development budget
  • Full travel compensation (parking available)
  • Company events
  • Remote working from abroad up to 3 weeks/year (after 6 months)
  • Pension contribution: 1% employer contribution
  • Performance reviews twice per year with potential annual salary increase
  • Long-term incentive via flexible rewards program (cash or virtual shares, 4-year vesting)
