The company is building a next-generation platform to help 1 million employees prevent burnout by automating wellbeing workflows at scale. Based in Amsterdam, they’re developing a completely new version of the platform from September onwards, including AI-driven features like matching users with the right coach.

The company recently transitioned from PHP to a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack and is now hiring someone to step up into the lead technical role. You’ll work closely with the CTO and another engineer in a small, high-impact team of three.

🔍 What They’re Looking For

✅ Must-Haves:

• 5+ years’ professional development experience
• Strong TypeScript backend experience
• Competency with React or Vue
• Confident communicator – leads conversations, summarises trade-offs, and can guide technical decisions
• Comfortable taking ownership of the full codebase
• Product-thinking mindset – experience working in user-facing environments (not just API/backend-only roles)
• Based near Amsterdam – able to come into the office once a week

💎 Nice-to-Haves:

• Startup or scale-up background
• Previous exposure to AI-based features or projects
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers
