Build Scalable Backend Systems for a High-Performance Trading Platform

Join a globally active trading technology company building mission-critical systems used at scale. Recently acquired by a major US-based cryptocurrency exchange, the business offers long-term stability while maintaining a strong engineering-led culture.

This is a Medior–Senior Full-stack Engineer role with a clear backend focus. Around 90% of your time will be spent building backend systems, with some responsibility for reviewing frontend code produced by an outsourced team.

You’ll work in a small, experienced engineering team where ownership, pragmatism, and impact matter.

What you will be doing

  • Designing and building backend services and systems
  • Working mainly with Erlang, Elixir, Java, or TypeScript
  • Collaborating closely with frontend and product teams
  • Reviewing frontend code from an external team
  • Owning features end-to-end in a fast-moving environment

Essential experience

  • Experience with Erlang, Elixir, Java, or TypeScript
  • Happy to work with Erlang
  • Working knowledge of React
  • 2–5 years professional experience (Medior–lower Senior)
  • Comfortable building admin tooling / internal platforms
  • Experience working in small teams

Package and logistics
